What Nobody Knows…

Nacami was born in East London to Ghanaian parents in the early eighties. He always seemed in a rush; running before he could walk, talking so fast no one could understand him, believing he could beat up his big bro 5 years his senior at age 2. There was always music being played in the house from Elvis Presley to Bob Marley Otis Redding James Brown etc as both parents were well and truly into music. This obviously had an influence on the kids as they became quite adept at picking up lyrics from soundtrack of their early lives. The family moved to Ghana when Nacami was about 3.

For The Love of Music…

Although obviously an intelligent boy he started fighting almost straight away and although he got good grades at school he also always seemed to be getting into 1 scrap or the other.

Around the age of 9 Nacami his brother and sister began their love affair with hip hop music and life style. They began writing down lyrics from their favorite rap songs like Jump Around and were soon spitting verses of tracks word for word and coming up with dance routines for these performances.

By 15 Nacami was a young man in a hurry to get money. This lead him to being expelled from school as 1 escapade to get this money went wrong and he ended up in the hands of the law. He soon left Ghana to join his big bro who was already in London.

His brother realised that the boy had talent when he hooked up a mike to the stereo and started making dark songs. They both agreed to do their best to stay straight and honestly pursue a career in music..

Nacami started using his college studio to lay tracks with his peers at Edgware School and gained a reputation for his dark mindset ever present in his flows.

The Road Ahead…

Many links to the industry came and went as Nacami struggled to stay on the straight and narrow whilst chasing his dream.

He then moved to Milton Keynes to join his brother who had moved there. Together with his brother OB and friend Dre the group stallionz was formed.

Numerous open mike, shows  and rap battles followed as the stallionz made a name for themselves in the Milton Keynes underground rap scene. Often being shouted out as the MK crew, they held down regular spots showcasing their talents with new performances every week. With the help of Jayel the master.

As soon as this was sold out the demand for more and the joy of eating from their passion sent them straight back to the studio to record their next offering.

Dre however departed the group shortly afterwards and the stallionz went on to record mixtapes with another group Mixed O.

The troubles however continued between Nacami and the law and he just about managed to stay out of prison on a number of occasions. Through the trials and tribulations of life and trying to get into the music industry a chance meeting lead to a meeting with badness records. The rest will be history in the making so stay tuned and don't miss out!Pure Badness
