DRUM SONG MUSIC Founded in 1995 as the first small independent record label and production studio dedicated specifically to Roots Reggae Music, located in Brighton on the South Coast of England. These days Brighton is known as a hotbed of artists, producers and labels in many genres of music, but back in the late eighties it was very different, particularly for Roots Reggae Music.

Frustrated by the lack of a focused and active scene at that time, Mikey D established ‘DRUM SONG RECORDS’ involved n the writing , recording, producing and working with various artists, several productions have been released that have generated critical acclaim from both the die hard Reggae fraternity world wide and music fans generally.
