Jeni AKA'Messy Stakes'

Jeni AKA 'Messy Stakes' was born in Gloucester on Christmas Day 1989.  From a young age she always felt the urge to entertain whether it be singing and dancing with her sisters or a one man show.

A hard love for poetry turned into a deep love for music.  With a strong energy channelled into creating and writing poems the foundations were made for the start of her musical journey.

On a rainy day, two friends on a kareoke machine and Messy's love for poetry turned into a passionate drive for music; and as they say, 'once you hip hop you just can't stop'!

Messy loves to perform at people's request on the street and any public place, and has even found herself on stage at BBC Blast Gloucester, thriving on the energy.

She has never been one to hold back and enjoys sharing her musical views (as this is what she calls her material) with anyone and everyone willing to listen.
