Daniz aka Jay Enar was born on July 5th 1985, in Tema Ghana. Daniz and his family moved to the UK when he was an eleven year old boy.
Daniz went to school where he started writing music in 6th form. Once when bored on an afternoon at 16 years of age he took his music a step further and performed some of his work to friends and Hip hop enthusiasts around him and got quite a warm response.
At the age of 17 Daniz and the group he was then a member of entered the UK unsigned competition where he gained experience in live performances and got a taste for the music industry. His then group called Mixed Origin managed to get to the Semi Finals of the Competition more or less on their first outing.
Daniz co-owned Mixed Origin with his brother and another partner.
The three entered the competition in the following year and got through to the Semi Finals again.
The group then went on to perform in various other places such as Milton Keynes Theatre, The Pitz, Buddha Blue, Spice lounge, Illusions, Mad House The X’scape and many more with Collabo’s with other artists such as B-Kay and Kazz.
Mixed Origin then went on to record some mix tapes with Stallionz Entertainment where they released a promo CD which got quite a good response from the Streets.
Mixed Origin then went on to work with MK Vibe on various occasions in pubs, under 18 events and in clubs where they gained more experience performing around the Milton Keynes circuit.
At the age of 21, Daniz decided to part with the other co-owner of Mixed Origin to pursue his solo career since things weren’t turning out the way they were supposed to.
Now at 23 Jay Enar has signed with Badness Records and the release of his debut Mix tape A Soldiers Religion is now Inevitable and ready to take the world by storm.
