Binary psychosis - two guys from England who desire to make 21th century punk with being held to ransom by the genre of musician known as the drummer. Desiring reliability in the percussion department Binary Psychosis have decided to shrink the traditional power trio to a mere twosome, resulting in greater scope for diversity and creativity. Get a huge blender, add the punk standards of nirvana, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Ramones and Misfit.. add to this already potent cocktail a dash of the pure pop that is the Small Faces, and finally, finish it all off with whatever warped fucked up shit you can create with modem technology, and you have an idea of what Binary Psychosis are have once been and are still yet to become.
Alex and Jim first met in the post industrial wasteland known as Coventry in the early 1990s whilst serving time for educational reasons. They first played together in the 4 piece power punk outfit 'THUNK', including an appearance at the In The City Live Unsigned festival in 1996. In the late 90s they went their separate ways, Alex concentrating in the live arena, Jim in the realm of studio. In 2007 the decision was taken to give life to several tunes that both of them had penned and BINARY PSYCHOSIS was born! 2008 sees the release of their first single 'Bobby Jo' and later in the year a mini album will also be made available.
